Dabi Serif is a modern neoclassical serif typeface distinguished by high contrast, elegant serifs, and a slightly condensed form. The serifs are fine and clearly defined, giving the typeface a particularly refined and graceful appearance. This typeface is ideally suited for sophisticated design projects such as luxury brand logos, elegant book covers, posters, and high-end websites. Its clear and elegant visual language lends every project a distinctive visual appeal.

Goal

Neoclassical typefaces often feel either too academic or too decorative to work across contemporary contexts. The goal was to design a serif that carries the refinement of historical models while remaining functional in today's high-end design landscape — one that could hold its own in a luxury logo without feeling like a revival project.

Solution

Dabi Serif was built around deliberate tension: high stroke contrast and sharp, defined serifs give it formal elegance, while the slightly condensed proportions keep it from feeling ornamental for ornament's sake. The result is a typeface that reads as crafted rather than constructed — suited for contexts where typography itself needs to communicate quality.
